FAQ

Common questions

Yes. Your first lesson is free, with no commitment to book more. It's a chance for us to meet, for me to see where your technique is at, and for you to decide if the format is a fit.

$30 for a 30-minute lesson, after your free first session. 45-minute sessions are also available — ask about pricing when you book.

No. Rodrumming lessons are fundamentals-focused and use sticks and a practice pad (or a similar firm surface). Drum kit and ensemble playing are not part of this curriculum.

A pair of drumsticks, a practice pad (or a pillow / firm surface to start), and a device with a camera for video calling. That's it — no kit or additional gear required.

Standard lessons run 30 or 45 minutes, depending on what's booked. Exact scheduling and lengths are confirmed directly with me.

Zoom is the default, but Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or another platform can be arranged if that's easier for you.

Yes. Many students are self-taught or intermediate/advanced players who want to clean up specific technique issues, tighten rudiments, or sharpen timing — the lessons scale to your level.

Not through Rodrumming directly — this program is intentionally scoped to fundamentals on sticks and pad. The technique you build here transfers directly if you move on to kit lessons elsewhere.
